Dr. Charlotte Chandler

Dr. Chandler graduated from Imperial College of Science Technology and Medicine (St Mary’s Medical School) London where she gained a Bachelor of Medicine and Batchelor of Surgery.

She worked throughout London and the South East working as a hospital medic in Emergency Medicine, Endocrinology, Paediatrics, Genitourinary Medicine and Cardiology. Realising she wanted to see patients with varied and interconnected conditions she then completed her postgraduate education with the Oxford General Practitioner Training scheme. She gained the Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) with merit with Diplomas in Child Health, Family Planning and Reproductive Healthcare.

She has worked as an NHS GP, with a special interest in child and women health, for 10years in London, Berkshire, Surrey and Devon.

In the search for better tools to treat patients modern illnesses Dr Chandler has undertaken training with the Institute of Functional Medicine (AFMCP) an internationally recognised leader in evidence based Lifestyle and Functional Medicine. She is also a member of the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine (BSLM) presenting educational talks to healthcare professionals and patients locally.

Dr Chandler and Dr Wilk realised that they had a shared desire to look holistically at a patients journey into ill health and help them back to optimal health with the science and art of Lifestyle Medicine. And so Devon Lifestyle Medicine was born.

She also still proudly works in the NHS as an Associate GP in Rolle Medical Partnership, Exmouth, Devon.
